Remember What I Said in the Earlier Post About One Unhinged Individual in Witchita?

What if they were everywhere and feeding on each other’s energy?

‘Cause they are. And what a surprise.

Occupy Wall Street: Darker Side Emerges

…ListenLogic is detecting, he says, a change in the tone of discourse about the so-called 1 percent richest Americans.

There still are postings that talk about taxing the 1 percent more severely or even throwing them in jail. “But then,” says Schiavone, “there’s an increase in ‘let’s kill’ them. We see ‘eat the rich,’ ‘kill the wealthy.’ There are images circulating of senior executives being decapitated, images of blood. Artists are releasing images of banks on fire.

Such extremism, he hastens to point out, is not representative of the objectives of most Occupiers. “Is that the movement? Absolutely not. They have been trying to be peaceful and respectful.” But the movement harbors within it, he says, persons “a lot more radical.”

Of the two signs at the Occupy Pensacola “organizing” meeting last Saturday, one was a delightful “Eat the Rich”. So that’s half the sentiment, and they had one fellow out of a generously estimated crowd of 150 who was so vociferous and strident in his opinions, the gathered assemblage decided he needed a “group hug”.

Yeah.

Thank YOU, Mr. President.

Of course, he’ll be nowhere to be found when the first person dies at the hand of an Occupier. Our lone wolf’ll be drafting his “blame the previous administration” screed.

  1. Mr. Bingley says:

    We see ‘eat the rich

I thought the Science was Settled and the Government was advising us not to eat “rich” foods?

  2. Yojimbo says:

Yeah, that’s why I said just keep them out there. Say, wasn’t the entire Tea Party found guilty because of one sign(which I never saw)?

When it gets cold all of the little true believers will go home leaving the hardcore types. With dwindling crowds the press will start to lose interest. The hardcore revolutionaries that are still out there will become increasingly frustrated and feel they have to do something dramatic, read violent, to regain the mojo.

    Keep them out there.

  3. Gary from Jersey says:

Cue the Reichstag fire, Yo. That’ll keep ’em warm.
