Shocka: Jobless Claims…Wait For It…”Unexpectedly” Rise

Economists once again are clueless about the economy

Initial jobless claims rose by 22,000 last week to a seasonally adjusted 496,000, the Labor Department said this morning. Economists had been expecting claims to have fallen to 460,000.

It was the highest rate since the middle of November and the sixth increase in the first eight weeks of 2010. The four-week average of initial claims rose 6,000 to 473,750.

Greece also seems to be seeing more civil unrest, and throw in the Falklands mess and so stocks are down this morning.

Oh, and it’s snowing like hell.

    When is America going to wake and realize that we are being led by idiots.The nation has been led by idiots since Reagan left office.At least he
    was a true American.Bush,Clinton,Bush the
    terrible,and now Obama are hopeless.
