Speaking of Blaming Bush!

The Interior Department exempted BP’s calamitous Gulf of Mexico drilling operation from a detailed environmental impact analysis last year, according to government documents, after three reviews of the area concluded that a massive oil spill was unlikely.

The decision by the department’s Minerals Management Service (MMS) to give BP’s lease at Deepwater Horizon a “categorical exclusion” from the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) on April 6, 2009 — and BP’s lobbying efforts just 11 days before the explosion to expand those exemptions — show that neither federal regulators nor the company anticipated an accident of the scale of the one unfolding in the gulf.

It’s about time to let him and his oil soaked cronies in the Department of Interior have it for the…mess…wait. April 200NINE? [ths mental math: 11 days beFORE explosion means…20TENGASP!] (Quick. WHAT day was it really cold and Michelle wore the puke green dress with the little jacket and then went to the parties that meant her husband was “the man”?)
(JANUARY? twothousand-NINE?!?!?!?)

There are still Bush people in the department because the GOP refuses to confirm the Obama appointees.

So there.

Little wheel spin and spin, and the big wheel turn round, round.

    You’re such a hater.

  2. Gary from Jersey says:

As a racist, I should point out that Dear Leader sent $500 million to a Brazilian oil company to drill pretty near where the spill occurred. Oh, yeah: George Soros is a major investor.

Jeez, that photo of Michelle wrapped in used trailer park drapery is almost bad as one your Huffindork photos. You really must be a hater, Sis. Of us, your loyal readers!

Gary, didja see this? Sounds like O!bambi went pretty cheap for a Chicago politician.

  4. Gunslinger says:

How many shower curtains were killed to make that outfit?

  5. Gary from Jersey says:

Yeah, I saw it Jeff. This’ll die just like the story about Pelosi voting three contracts for her husband to run Walter Reed only to see care nearly collapse.
