Debt-Laden Spain Eyes Charging Rich for Health Care

Spain is considering charging the rich for health care as it reforms its highly regarded and deeply indebted public health system, Economy Minister Luis de Guindos said on Monday, as the country struggles to show it can rein in its spending.

I forget. Did our blisteringly brilliant President use/tout them as a model for this obscene thing we have now, or was that another one of those “have to read the bill/find out” surprises?

    Morons. It’s not “reining in” spending if someone else foots the bill. It only counts as reining in if the bill is smaller.
