‘That’s New York, and that’s their business, and that’s fine with me’

…from Rick Perry and New York’s recent changes at “The Corner”:

I realize that Rick Perry is a big state’s rights’ guy, but that is a fascinatingly shocking thing for someone supposedly running for the Republican nomination to say, and the weekend a new definition of marriage debuted in the state of New York. Seems to be conflict with the idea that he would be an obvious choice for social conservatives.

Personally, I think it’s a shockingly refreshing thing for someone supposedly running for the Republican nomination to say. You can’t TALK state’s rights, and then pick and choose.

STFU about people’s bedrooms, already.

    I am not one for the whole “same sex marriage” dealio, but I am one that thinks that is for the STATES to decide.

    Perry is realizing that walking the diplomatic tightrope is useless. And he is not afraid of being blunt.
