OMG From the smiles on the faces of some of the cheerleaders and ballplayers, I think I am not the only one who laughed out loud. Better than crying!
Sounds like they sunk below the level of Roseanne Barr’s “arrangement”.

Ive heard worse. That song has become so butchered that I don’t even care anymore. It’s never been a particularly good song. I prefer a band arrangement to anyone actually singing the words, but then I’m a misanthrope.

They had a drunk guy at a Nascar race some years ago. He kept getting lost and forgetting the words.
It was pretty bad.
Surprisingly one of the best I ever heard was at a Nascar race also. It was 8 or 10 of the American Idol finalists and it was essentially perfect.
