Whereas before you were apt to get stabbed for drawing Mohammed cartoons, now you’re apt to get stabbed for suggesting (then retracting) that Mohammed cartoons should be drawn.

Good luck to her, and may she avoid the fate that befell Theo Van Gogh.
But I seriously doubt she has learned a lesson here.
I don’t think she has learned a thing, based on this:
“Norris views the situation with her customary sense of the world’s complexity, and absurdity. ”
Um, sweet pea, it ain’t “the world’s complexity and absurdity” that is causing the problem here.
This is what happens when we appease murderers.
We should be removing these terrorists from this planet, not quaking in our boots.

It really is time to stand up to this bullying by mohammetans. Too many say nothing against this, perhaps they are scared, too. But it’s time to say “No. More.”
