What I Started Sippin’ This Weekend
Not that I’m a sucker for a coy name, mind you, but this Jefferson’s Bourbon is pretty tasty: smooth with a smoky caramelized apple flavor. And for about $32 not a bad buy, either.
Note to self: steal camera back from Daughter, as the iPod Touch photo capabilities obviously stink.
Ah! That’s one I have not yet tried. I shall put it on list.
Glad to see you’re not Hemings and hawing around about your approval of this particular product. A solid Declaration of Interest is always appreciated.
We hold these 80 proofs to be self-evident, Yojimbo.
Ah, you are talking my language. Being originally from kentucky, it’s what we grew up on. Jefferson is good and the bottle is cool too. Still my favorite in this price range is knob creek although it is closer to $40 per bottle. Bookers is my absolute favorite but it is uncut out of the barrel so it’s a little stout!
Gary, it’s taken me a while to warm to bourbon, mainly due to the fact that during my years in college in Virginia the bourbon that we drank was really not top-notch…I just found scotch to be so much more agreeable.
