Standing fast With Rand Paul and Spelling Him During His Magnificent Filibuster?
From my colleague @chadpergram – the GOP senators in the chamber are Paul, Cruz, Toomey, Thune, Rubio,Johnson (WI) & Lee. That’s it.

RT @sunnyright Rubio’s chief of staff says Rubio will continue filibuster after Cruz is done. #StandWithRand

I am SO PROUD of MY Senator.
Where’s yours?
ths note: THIS LITTLE RESOLUTION is what our despicable hack of a president and his miserable today of an AG couldn’t agree to.
Do you feel safe, America?
Well, do ya?
HAH!!
BOOM! McConnell says he’d oppose cloture and is voting no on Brennan.

Ron Johnson’s right with them. 😀
McConnell’s just gotten to the floor and Thune just took over the filibuster from Marco.
Oh, this is GLORIOUS!
Rand Paul. Doing what the GOP won’t.
Isn’t it ironic that theoretically, if the target of a drone strike somehow survived, the morally superior left wouldn’t waterboard him.
Think about that.
I live in New Jersey, Ms. Sister. We don’t have Senators, we have regrets.
“I am SO PROUD of MY Senator.
Where’s yours?”
Same place yours is – and I share your pride.
@nightfly – OUCH. That should be a quotable quote somewhere. I used to live in NJ. Many decades ago. Still think it was a great place to grow up. I learned a lot there. Not, perhaps, things I should have–last place I lived was a Mafia town – no crime, no problems, quiet and peaceful – I assure you the Mafia didn’t want their underlings anywhere in sight. NOR any of their competition.
But, well, I got to know their kids. And their kids knew a lot that the parents didn’t know they knew. Not anything arrestable really… not that I would have known a tort from a tart back then. But still, attitudes, hiding places (why doesn’t my dad let me in…). That sort of thing. Not bad policy, considering.
I know I was impressed. Not. Not even a little bit.
In the end, based upon some feel good yakkity yak from Holder, Senator Paul voted FOR cloture…e.g., to cut himself & others off. Once 63 votes for Brennan were in the bag, Sen Paul could safely vote Nay.
Maybe we can nickname Brennan “Blowtorch John” like Robert Komer once was under LBJ and Nixon….during the MACV-SOG-CORDS-Phoenix programs. He’s got the same “MO” as Komer…operate from the White House without military oversight. Perfect.
