Asparagusers Syndrome
Man I love asparagus, especially when it’s grilled. Usually I marinate it in balsamic vinegar and lime juice beforehand, but the other day I saw a recipe involving pig.
What’s not to love?
First you wash and trim the stems
then wrap half a slice of prosciutto around the spear
and schmodge two together using toothpicks
hey, you know what works even better? Use a full slice wrapped around two spears…now we’re talking
then you just pop those babies on the top rack of the grill for the last 5 minutes or so of the steak’s cooking time. There’s no need to season them at all, as the fat renders off and the salty pig goodness gives a great flavor to the asparagus
yum yum.
Life is just better with pig.
Hey Bro that looks great and I’d be jealous except that last night in Denmark I ate a huge plate of crispy fried pork back with new potatoes and parsley cream gravy – definitely a heart attack on a plate – and it really satisfied that must have some fried pork craving! But I actually I’m a bit jealous of the grilled cow. I can smell it. I can taste it. But only in my mind.
