What’s The “Mystery”?

I laughed when I read this AP headline, I really did. If you look up “head-in-sand” in the dictionary I am sure this is listed as an example

NY car bomb suspect cooperates, but motive mystery
By TOM HAYS and JOHN CHRISTOFFERSEN, Associated Press Writers

…A court hearing was canceled Tuesday in part because of Shahzad’s continuing cooperation with investigators, but authorities said they had shed little light on what might have motivated him.

Gosh, I really can’t imagine.

    I immediately had the same thought you did. Like, DUH!!! It’s almost Onion-like — you think, “This HAS to be satire.”

    A 5-year-old could explain what his “motive” was. Chrissake.
