Freedom Of Speech Under Attack In NJ
This disgusting bill introduced by Rep. Peter Biondi would restrict speech online:
Makes certain operators of interactive computer services and Internet service providers liable to persons injured by false or defamatory messages posted on public forum websites.
What kind of crap is this? What next? Will they require names from people in crowds, in case they shout something nasty as well?
I’m writing my Reps about this piece of poo.

I think Peter Biondi would just like to have a little talk with the people who have said mean things about him on the Internet but this bill would be terrible.
Especially when ya’ll find out who Bingley really is.

Someone should point out to Biondi that the Federalist Papers were written under the name “Publius”, and many pro-revolution and later anti-slavery pamplets and treatises were also written under pseudonyms.
Granted, few internet postings rise to that level, but the principle is the same.
I think Dave’s comment right above yours is of Federalist caliber.

Christie keeps insisting her friend’s mom is an honest member of the NJ Assembly, but I have my doubts.
Furthermore, since this is a public forum and I am posting semi-anonymously: I’d like to state for the record that I have it on good authority that Rep. Biondi prefers the company of underage Andorran prostitutes, who he later kills and uses their corpses in arcane voodoo rituals.
