   That behavior in the video doesn’t surprise me a bit. I’ve set up offices all across the country for voice and data services. The only telco I consistently had problems with was Verizon, from D.C. all the way up the East Coast. I ran into some real dirtbag technicians along that stretch.

   This jerk was counting on the inherent decency of the “scab” not to act viciously in anger after being cursed at and reviled. Why didn’t he stand in front of the truck himself instead of putting his child at risk? Why is a kid even at a union protest? It’s not as if she’s a member.

   I’ve read a bit about this strike and their demands are unrealistic. They pay zero towards their health benefits. Zero. Even the much coddled public school teachers have to pay more than that.
