We Watched “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure” Last Night
…for the first time in probably 15 years. We were channel surfing and caught it just as he got off a bus in Texas.
It’s still just frickin’ hilarious.

I saw it for the first time several months ago at a revival theater in Hollywood, with some friends. I was coming off a weekend on call and it was EXACTLY what I needed to see. I laughed my ass off. Playful, funloving, brilliant… I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it.
That’s one of my favorite points in the movie! The tour, and then proving he’s in Texas while he’s on the phone. . . gets me every time.
It’s one of my faves! I watch it at least once a month. I’m such a dork. I know you are but what am I?
Oh, and if you can catch Pee Wee on Broadway on HBO- it’s fantastic!
