    Well, I give this fellow credit though:
    “I now know that I was wrong. Indeed, this is a bitter pill to swallow,” McCloskey said in a statement, describing Thursday’s findings as “a kick in the stomach.”
    He believed in the guy’s innocence, but he’s man enough (can I still use that expression these days?) to admit he was wrong, with no “but…” attached.

  2. They’ve got to be sick over this. There’s no worse feeling than believing in something with all your heart and working selflessly for it for years and then…schmutz. You were lied to. God. That’s awful. And all that time and effort wasted on someone who didn’t deserve it. I hope he’s rotting in hell twice over for the hurt he caused people who believed him.
