Well, I’ve been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that’s the stupidest thing I ever heard come over internet.

It’s of a piece – tax dollars to provide it, laws about who can say what and how while using it… When did we move from George Washington to Aunt Bea as a government role model? (And in that case, where’s my pie, dagnabit?)
Everytime they guarantee soemthing to one gerneation, the bill always comes due in the next. Want to bet on how fast investment dollars will flow out of telecom with that kind of governmetn interference? And how bad and outmoded it will be in about 15 years’ time?
