No tingling legs THERE, by God!

Except maybe President Zero. From shock at not getting a soft ball question.

    Working hard?

Hardly working is more like it.

Larry Connors has been around for ages, and his co-anchor is no slouch either. (He’s originally from Texas, I think). That benign smile and friendly drawl can be very sneaky, even if you know what is coming.

Man, Alice, but it’s ILLINOIS! How do these guys still have their JOBS in that state?!

  5. AliceH says:

    Illinois? What about Illinois?

    St. Louis, MISSOURI… metro/media population about 3MM.

  6. tree hugging sister says:

Oh, duh. Crusader WORKS in St Louis but he lives in IL. That’s where my brain was.

(Although they COULD send a stealth team across the river…)

  8. AliceH says:

Gotcha. When I lived/worked in St. Louis, about half my department lived in Illinois. Other than having a sun advantage for the commute (driving west in the morning, east in the evening, avoiding sun in the eyes), I never quite figured out why that was. More rural areas on the East side, vs. suburban build up on the West side I think – it’s very pretty. The taxes are much worse, though.

  9. tree hugging sister says:

He’s out there in Lebanon (not for much longer, tho) and it was access to the trains to get into town that was the major consideration.

  10. JeffS says:

That’s EAST St. Louis what’s in Illinois, Sis. St. Louis is right across the Mississippi River.
