A Canadian mayor caught up in a scandal over a video purportedly showing him smoking crack cocaine has fired his chief of staff.
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford dismissed Mark Towhey yesterday and gave no reason for his sacking.
It comes as the mayor faces increasing pressure over the alleged crack smoking video.
Marion Barry when asked said “The bitch set him up too.”

Apparently, the lefties in Canada will, just like the lefties in the US, stop at nothing to bring down their enemies. Rob Ford, the Mayor of Toronto, is a proponent of small government and big spending cutbacks. The left have been after his ass since the day he won the election in a landslide. The mysterious video that has been talked about has never surfaced nor has any other evidence surfaced. Now this.
A woman by the name of Shannon Everett was arrested yesterday for throwing a drink on Mayor Rob Ford during a downtown festival. She has been charged with assault.
What a coincidence this would be if this Rob Ford hating Shannon Everett lefty is the same Shannon Everett that has a LinkedIn profile claiming to be a Multimedia Developer specializing in “CS5, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Motion Pro, Digital Photography, Digital Video, Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, WebCT, Moodle, HTML, CSS, Camtasia, Adobe Connect, Print Design, Visual Identity, Learning Objects”
