That’s Why God and GM

…invented “the parking brake”.

A police dog that was left in a pickup with the engine running apparently knocked the vehicle into gear and ran down a woman who was walking to her mailbox.

Yeah, blame the dog. I knew a lot of pilots that used to blame everyone except themselves, too.
“No, I didn’t forget to put the slats up before pulling 4.5G’s. I can’t understand how the slats got pulled out and ripped off the wing.”
What’s a police dog handler doing with a pick up truck anyway? Shouldn’t he have a vehicle better suited to hauling a dog around?
    A well-justified lawsuit is coming.

  2. Oh, you betcha. Even in our humble burg, Rin Tin Tin is in the back seat, with a standard police cruiser wire partition between him and the driver’s seat.

I hear they’re making this into a movie:
    “K-9, The Widower-Maker”

  4. That 1 Guy says:

I’m thinking that you meant they need a “barking brake.”

  5. BBWWWAAAHAhahahahaha!!

  6. Nightfly says:

In that hat, the dog looks ready to bust out the Benny Hill salute any moment.

  7. The_Real_JeffS says:

Actually, that dog has the “God, why are you humiliating me?” look. I saw this all the time as a child, when I dressed up our pets in my dad’s underwear.
Which he didn’t appreciate, for some odd reason.
