I blame global warming.
You might as well throw it away.Unless it’s a door switch or diode, the parts will cost an arm and a leg.The clue is this:If you hear any arcing or smell anything burning , it’s probably the Magnetron.
The microwaves nowadays, no matter which brand you buy, are all made in Korea.They’ll last about five years.
Will you be burying it in the backyard, with full honors?
I’m thinking it is the magnetron since it wasn’t heating things quite as well, probably can’t get one that would work in it either. No arcing though.
