Layers And Layers Of Fact-Checkers Part MCMLV
Courtesy of MSN, here’s a little historical tidbit that I’ll bet you didn’t know:
General McClellan and Union forces won the Siege of Yorktown in 1862 to win the Revolutionary war!
Boy, that Lincoln guy just didn’t give George all the credit he deserved…

On Slide 10 they have Howard Hughes…dying in a plane crash?
Dare I say “Fake News”?
History is determined by power, not necessarily fact. As Winston Churchill said, “History is told by the victors”. In Canada, if you were to compare a Canadian history book from an Ontario school to one from a Quebec school, they tell pretty much opposite stories of the battles between the French and English. Quebec children grow up thinking that the French actually won.
I’m not sure history is told by the victors here anymore…
Excellent point. Currently, its told by the losers, as in big friggen “L” on forehead.
Probably “The Spruce Goose” – but it didn’t crash and still exists today.
History is now being told by people that think America should become a communist country, there are more than fifty genders to change into as easily as changing socks, and that plastic straws are a greater threat to the environment that the mountains of bum feces and used heroin needles adorning San Francisco’s streets.
Sorry Mr. Bingley, but you seem to be the source of fake news on this post. According to the article you linked to, Cornwallis and the British lost and Howard Hughes died on a plane – not a plane crash.
only took them 14 hours to correct lol
At least they did correct…
J-Urinalists are just as smart as joe Biden and AOC put together.
