“Undoubtedly Poetic Stuff…”

“… but do pee-pees really go “doing-doing-doing”?”

That would be the editorial comment on No. 14. For the record (and in spite of Bingley’s alleged ‘all things naughty’ expertise), I personally have no knowledge and therefore will not answer the question based on my 5th Dimension rights.

    “Lucky that my breasts
    Are small and humble
    So you don’t confuse
    Them with mountains”
I’ve yet to meet breasts that were “humble”. Small, yes. Humble, no.

  2. Gunslinger says:

    “I don’t like cities
    But I like New York
    Other places
Make me feel like a dork”

With lyrics like that it’s no surprise Madonna has to rely on cheap gimmicks and grandstanding.

  3. Perhaps you meant “I’ve yet to meet breasts that were “fumbled
Not casting any aspersions, mind you.

Based on math, I think Michael Stipe’s Boy George homage in #15 is ITSELF one of the 20 worst lyrics ever – if 1 picture = 1000 words, then that gawdawfutility has to place in the top ten.
And #13 isn’t the worst lyric in that song – I always thought “The heat was hot” was kind of, well, dumb.
But #1 is best. Oh, how the Ladybug HATES Sade’s music. This made her smile. Thank you Spinner!

“Fumbled” breasts? I dunno, Sis, is that like fumbling in football?
    How about “crumbled breasts”?

  6. #13 is NOT a bad lyric when you hear it. “…and things” is perfectly good slang for “…and so on”. Is that no longer a common usage? I think not.
I’ve never heard of Natalie Imbruglia (#10), but she sure looks like she’s on meth. And I think they may have the wrong lyric for Live and Let Die, I always thought it was “…ever changing world in which we’re living…”
But I’m surprised this one didn’t make the list: “No on heard at all, not even the chair”. I like Neil Diamond, that one was a clunker.

  7. But–
Someone left the cake out in the rain!
I don’t think that I can take it!
‘cos it took so long to bake it!
And I’ll never have that recipe again!

Yes, Andrea, but it’s TOTALLY DIFFERENT when played on a tabla….
