You Know, When I Saw This Headline…

“Clinton Stiffs Iowa Waitress”
I sure didn’t think they were talking about Hillary…
But this is one of those stupid stories, as “In fairness to Clinton, the article also notes that the meal was on the house. ”
I shudder to think we still have a year of this crap left.

“The meal was on the house,” is not an adequate excuse. She should have tipped the waitress. It’s not about the cost or value of the meal but about service. But I wouldn’t expect a dirtbag Clinton to know that.

You thought it was about Bill? Close, but no cigar…

They had a follow-up story on NPR this morning. The Clinton campaign claims they left behind a $100 tip to be split up. This waitress says that they might have left one somewhere, but she didn’t get one.
I didn’t care much for the waitress, based on her interview. I hate comments like, “I have to work two jobs to support me and my family. I shouldn’t have to work two or three jobs to support my family.”
No. The taxpayer should do that for you, I assume.

Oy. Must be a slow news day.

She should have paid more attention in school so the jobs she does work pay better than minimum wage. And maybe made better decisions in partners if the “family” includes kids, because it doesn’t sound as if the man, if there is one, is bringing in his share. I don’t think anyone forced her to do the horizontal bop.
I shouldn’t have to work 70 hour weeks, either. But I do, sometimes. Sometimes it sucks to be me.
