I Guess They’d Never Heard

Dolts. But take heart purists ~ we learned something we didn’t know.

Back by popular demand, Löwenbräu reintroduces Löwenbräu Original Lager in the US , importing it directly from the Löwenbräu brewery in Munich.

Glad to hear he got his roar back. Shame you can’t resurrect that market share.
UPDATE:

That’s not much for getting the word out. Most disenchanted folks already thought it was.

That’s great news. I remember touring the Löwenbräu factory in München when I was 13 years old. I thought it was a good beer back then, but what did I know?

  2. Well, merci beer cups, Diptera! And Skyler, I remember all the coolest dads drank Löwenbräu back in the day. And then they all stopped ’cause it tasted like crap and the company denied changing a thing, basically implying those same middle class dads were idiots. NO one bought it after that. What do they all drink now? Heineken. Like I said, try challenging their market share (especially when the buying public has NO CLUE Löwenbräu’s for real again) ~ not gonna happen.
I wonder if there’s a beer hall of shame where the genius who hatched this brilliant plan is enshrined.
    Or pickled.

In general, I go with Belgian over German beers, but this is really SUCH great news. 🙂
