Australia Day Disgrace

Via Tim, Australian PM Julia Gillard and Opposition leader Tony Abbot were trapped by a mob of several hundred today in a restaurant where they were celebrating the founding of their wonderful country.

This is a complete and total disgrace, and I would think the local police have got some serious explaining to do.

   Looking at the pictures, the description of the protesters as ‘aboriginal’ is risible.

   I saw this on the news last night (I am in Melbourne at present) and couldn’t believe it. It gets better: no charges will be filed. I don’t believe Native American protesters in the States would have gotten away with something like this.
