Bill Quick’s New Book
It’s actually quite good and an enjoyable read. It’s called “Lightning Fall” and it concerns an all-too conceivable EMP attack on the US, and how very quickly our tech/electricity-dependent society could fall apart, especially when aided by the misplaced priorities of our political class.
If you have a kindle, get it.
uh… is it available as a printed paper book? just in case,
you know, an EMP knocks my Kindle out?

It is, actually, available printed!
I would hazard a guess that if the EMP happens you might have some concerns beyond your fiction collection…
we’d survive one just fine, we’ve got enough ammo to
hold the suburban zombies at bay…
most people won’t be a problem dealing with until they
realize that they’re getting awfully hungry while sitting
and staring at a blank iPhone screen for weeks waiting
for it to spring back to life, but they’ll probably be too
weak to pose much of a menace by then.
Paper books will have many post-apocalyptic uses, Mr. B, most notably as tinder, insulation, and toilet paper.
I got it and have started it. Love the setup and all the different characters, and the quality of the writing is far above the usual I’ve come to expect in this type of book.
