Makes me smile when somebody feels perky enough to attempt a couch climb and his half-shot, crippled old back legs actually get him there.
We love this old gentleman with all our hearts.

My 15 year old cream Shiba Inu has back leg issues, too, yet he still wants to go up and down the steep stairs to his ‘place’. I’ve taken to following him up, because that’s when he’s liable to lose it and fall.
Sleep well, sir…that looks like a nice cozy position.
What a good labradork.
Watch “Nate” – seems nature hates Florida this year.
Just got home and cleaned out all the geegaws from the trees in the dark. Such fun. If Nate’s a hurricane tomorrow (supposed to only still be a TropStorm but I have my doubts) we’ll move the grills etc into the garage and button up the house. Bunch of folks in the neighborhood sure seem to have invested in aluminum shutters since Ivan. Ask me how I know… 😛
