The Price Has Been Chopped
But I’d still have to axe permission to buy it
FALL RIVER, Mass.—The house where Lizzie Borden lived out her life after being acquitted of charges that she used an ax to kill her father and stepmother is on the market.

The article doesn’t reveal until the end that “It is not the same house where Andrew and Abby Borden were killed in August 1892.”
That’s no damn good!
Better get a handle on the price, so you won’t get bit on the a$$.
I still don’t think I could hack the cost.
I think you could whack ’em down some more on that price.
I’m just all cut up that it’s ‘not the same house where Andrew and Abby Borden were killed’.
I think I’ll keep chopping around, thanks.
Mr. B:
Another off topic post on grills… heeding your sage advice the Performer it is… Amazon is sending me this baby by Thursday afternoon: http://goo.gl/Bpd1i
I may have a mild illness Friday that will require something cooked low and slow… treatment might last all weekend.
Now the next source of indecision – what to christen it with?
I became obsessed with this crime after watching a rerun of Elizabeth Montgomery’s movie
where she played Lizzie Borden. What a fascinating story. She lived in luxury off of a 250 thousand dollar inheritance
from her father’s estate.
There is some credence to the theory Andrew Borden was killed by his illegimate son, with Lizzie’s help.
Yay Mark! I am awfully sorry to hear about your impending illness!
If you want some christening ideas just scroll through here; there are some real fantastic cooks there.
I’ve never done any low-n-slo on my OTG; I have a WSM for that. But I have gotten into the habit of grilling all my steak indirectly on the OTG between two banks of coals with some smoke and then finishing with a sear.
I remember that Elizabeth Montgomery version, Greg. She really played the nutjob well.
