The U.S. and its military has been humiliated & the leaders of the country either don’t realise it or realise it & think it a good thing.
She was probably permitted to eat after they finished. I know something of the culture.
(Not that that excuses them.)
Well, exactly, Kathy. Despicable behaviour by her fellow crew mates. I’m well aware of the cultural prohibitions women face there and those guys damn well should have declined their little bowls of rice if she couldn’t eat at the same time. That’s military culture and absolutely inviolable.
Is keel-hauling still a thing in the Navy?
