    You’d think he’d wait until he found all the puppies before going to the news. The thief is likely to kill any left over now.

    I’m a little worried about the breeder’s emphasis on the money lost rather than on the welfare of the animals. It makes me wonder about him. Maybe the news clip was edited poorly.

    Breeding quality dogs is really a labor of love, not a profitable activity. The only way to make a profit in breeding is to mass-breed and sell to pet stores, which makes for inferior, unhealthy and neurotic animals.
