He published a great book.

That led to…well…something ggrrrrEAT! in a loin cloth a few years later…

…and one of the most beautiful soundtracks ever to accompany a film.

    I went online and bought that DVD & soundtrack immediately at the conclusion of the movie. Loved the movie. Absolutely hated the book.

    Mark Twain be damned, I love The Deerslayer. It’s got one of the best opening scenes in literature. What a page turner.
