Ah…I Can Taste Their Sweet Salty Tears

Sometimes wishes do come true…

Both the Red Sox and the Braves ended their seasons with the most painful, most excruciating collapses imaginable over the last month and it culminated for both of them in losses last night in games they each were winning in the ninth inning.

ummmmmmmmmmmm….delicious

The Red Sox lost? Quel domage!

  2. Rob says:

Well, that’s just cruel. I like it. 🙂 GEAUX Cards

I didn’t know that the Paw Sox played this late in the season. I thought they normally concluded their season around Labor Day.

Some things are just alright with the world. Seeing Ted Turner’s Braves slink into the night is a wonderful thing, almost as good as watching the Bosox (Botox?) blow it again.

Never seen two teams have such a monumental collapse. I can root for anyone of the teams left to beat the Yanks now.

jake Tapper was just wondering on twitter how to console a Sucks fan. I suggested how ’bout a Heidi Klum-like, “You’re OUT!“?

I can root for anyone of the teams left to beat the Yanks now.

Really, honey bunny….? And in what house would you be doing THAT?

  7. Rob says:

Not taking a side here but I would think Yankee haters are not that hard to come by in that part of the country. Here in Louisiana, you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting one. GEAUX Cards. 🙂

  8. major dad says:

Sorry THS can’t root for a team that has A-Rod on it and I don’t like their manager to boot.

  9. Bill N says:

Major Dad I respectfully suggest you root for my beloved Phitin’s.

The great Cliff Lee came to Philly for less money than the Yanks offered him. He said we were the best fans in baseball.

I would be proud to count you as a temporary Phillies Phan.

It’s obvious that most of you have aborted your med schedules today. Why not root for the D-Backs. This is a team with very few stars and mostly backups playing regular positions. This is a small market team playing in a large market. We couldn’t afford Cliff Lee’s glove. Come to your senses and get with the program here.

First day for six months without a game on MLB Extra Innings.
