Another One Under The Bus

Obama has thrown the Greens under the bus

The Obama administration has urged the Supreme Court to toss out an appeals court decision that would allow lawsuits against major emitters for their contributions to global warming, stunning environmentalists who see the case as a powerful prod on climate change.

…Matt Pawa, an attorney representing plaintiffs in the case, said he and his colleagues expected the White House to stay out of the matter. During a meeting with more than 30 administration lawyers at the solicitor general’s office on June 24, it seemed they had “a lot of friends in the room,” he said.

“We feel stabbed in the back,” Pawa said. “This was really a dastardly move by an administration that said it was a friend of the environment. With friends like this, who needs enemies?”

Obama wants to consolidate the power in the EPA and other regulatory agencies.

Power to the…bureaucrats!

30 administration lawyers! Good grief, we need a carbon trading scheme just for lawyers!

At first I was wondering why fluffy was upset about the consolidation of power since in the long run it will be more totalitarian. Then it dawned on me, it would cut out the money spigot for so many of these hanger on groups who fund themselves by this sort of thing. Somewhat slow today sorry.

Dasdardly. This gentleman is trapped somewhere in time.:)

Pawa would have expected this had he and other supporters O has screwed knew anything about gangster politics. It’s weird they can’t recognize their own statist tactics, but not surprising.

I’m sure they know all about gangster politics, Gary – it’s just that every last gang thinks that, in the end, they’ll be the ones calling the shots. Then the shot is called and they are invariably hurt and shocked that they’re on the wrong side of the trigger.

I think the Chicago boyz have the unabridged version. Its like sacred doctrine passed down between the hardcore radicals and not available to the standard progressive set.

No, we need a carbon capture and storage scheme for lawyers.
