“Let the fat, hairy bastard sit in one of those 5′ by 7′ rooms in the federal prison up in Terre Haute. One hour a day of fresh air and no human contact other than those friendly guards. For as long as it takes him to die naturally.” That sounds about right.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed said Thursday that he would welcome the death penalty for his confessed role as mastermind of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
“Yes, this is what I wish, to be a martyr for a long time,” Mohammed told a military judge who warned that he faces execution if convicted of organizing the attacks on America. “I will, God willing, have this, by you.”
I don’t think we should be stupid enough to reward him with martyrdom. I HOPE we’re not that stupid.
Let him rot and never be heard from again ~ finally a worthy use of tax dollars.

I support the death penalty, in large part because I prefer not to spend any money to keep murderous scumbags alive.
But in this case, I’ll make an exception.
I disagree. What he wants and what he values is irrelevent. He needs to stop drawing breath. He needs to cease his existence. We know he won’t be a martyr or be rewarded. And those that would be inspired by his death should be identified and made to join him as soon as possible. The fewer such scum on this earth, the better.
Stuff a rasher of bacon in his piehole, then cap him. Problem solved.
Since he wants to die perhaps we should present him with a choice: burn alive or hurl himself off a tall building.
That would be justice.
It’s not so much what he values as what his would-be followers value. Whatever dissuades them is what should be done – whether that’s Dave’s suggestion, or Gunslinger’s, or Skyler’s.
