Awwwww…She’s Back

And I really do think for the last time. Gut feeling.

She breaks my heart.

    Sniff….sad end.

That’s a shame. Am I being too picky to think that a nation that respects its military traditions should NEVER let a service ship degrade in this manner, even if it’s obsolete and decommissioned? Did she even sail to the Gulf under her own power or did she have to be hauled like cargo?
It just doesn’t sit right. Not rational, I suppose, but damn.

The Navy should’ve at least had the decency to scuttle her before she was in such a state.

  4. She’s been hauled back and forth by sea-tow twice now, Diptera. There’s nothing left on board resembling mechanicals/engines/electrical, parts of any type, due to the environmental concerns once she’s sunk. Sh*tty as she looks, her decks and passageways are clean enough to eat off of, toxin wise.
She’s going to look even worse because all those hatches (doorways in the real world) and covers have to come off for her to sink. They’d taken them all off last year only to have to put them all back on for her retreat to Beaumont for the hurricane season. (Can’t have all those openings for sea travel.)
