I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the Chicoms are soon going to be run out of power.
From what I’ve read (admittedly not comprehensive), the Chinese economy is a facade of capitalism, and remains a socialist style (“Need more money, comrade? PRINTERS!”) banking system in the background, propping up industries with fiat currency. This does tie in with that, somewhat. Interesting.
I’m thinking that the brave folks who showed up ~ some of whom got carted away in buses for ‘questioning‘ ~ for Zhao Ziyang’s memorial probably caused a few raised eyebrows and twinges of worry.
