   I used to go dog fishing off the back porch when I was a tyke- I’d tie a dog biscuit to the end of some monofil, and cast off; our dopey old white boxer would play it like hell. It was like having a 80 pound mako on the line. (Or maybe not so dopey, he always wound up getting the biscuit).

   Well, I guess anyone can get squirrelly, especially Harvardites…….
   On thread, I had a buddy of mine go “Boy Scout” fishing at a national jamoboree once. He was bored, and tied a scout patch to a fishing pole, and threw the patch on some trail near his camp site. Every time a scout tried to grab it, he’d reel it in, and make the poor sucker chase after it.
