did not fall on the house during the Irene unpleasantness. We were very happy.
All we lost was the upper half of a maple
And here’s a pic I found of the post-freezer grilling
Ribeyes, pork chops, a couple NY strips and a couple pound Chateaubriand.

Maple is an excellent firewood. And may be suitable in your smoker as well, adding a different flavor to your feasts.
Speaking of which…..all that meat makes me HUNGRY!!!!
Make sure you get all the syrup out before you use it for firewood.
