   I’d agree with him (and his remedy, by the way) and said so down in the other thread. This wasn’t a “whoops!” by any means. The best movie line to cover it would be, “The Russians don’t take a dump without a plan…”

   Isn’t it a shame that McChrystal had all of 20 minutes to discuss the Afghan war with Obama after a few requests to do so, but his final discussion with the POTUS will be about White House image. He was sent on a fool’s errand by a fool. I bet there are some generals this morning, hoping like hell their phone doesn’t ring.

   If those quotes were accurate then that general is a miserable and dangerous excuse for a military officer.
