Good News!

A former fox is now in charge of the hen house

WASHINGTON (AP) – A Goldman Sachs executive has been named the first chief operating officer of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s enforcement division.

The market watchdog agency said Friday that Adam Storch, vice president in Goldman Sachs’ Business Intelligence Group, is assuming the new position of managing executive of the SEC division.

What could possibly go wrong?

Just to add to that, Frank’s number one aide on the Financial Services Subcommittee went over to Goldie to become their chief congressional liaison.

    Culture of Corruption, indeed.

It’s so curious how, no matter what happens, Goldman always wins. They already own the Treasury Department (every Secretary since Bob Rubin has had a Goldman connection), so why not the SEC too?

  4. Oh, come on people. It’s just exactly the same as when FDR appointed Joe Kennedy chairman of the SEC. Who better knows how to spot the corruption?

    Set a thief to… etc.

OK, America. Now you get a taste of what it’s like living in Jersey under the G-S regime. (For those who don’t know, our corrupt, incompetent and weak-kneed governor is a top G-S alumnus. And we’re dead broke, so failed that a state senator actually told me he’s moving out of state to avoid the coming collapse.)
