   That would be Captain Ted Williams to all you non Jarheads. He flew F9 Panthers, don’t think he was ever in a F-86, have to check.

   F9F in Korea and the Corsair in that War that followed the War to, you know, end all wars. F-86 would be Air Force. He was John Glenn’s wingman for some of his combat time in Korea. That’s from Wiki so take it for what it’s worth.

   Correct Yojimbo, F-86 is a AF jet. I was going to see if he ever got the chance to fly one, AF lets other sevices play with their toys every now and again.
