   We shouldn’t be negotiating with terrorists states directly. This gives them a measure of legitimacy that they don’t deserve. I can see backdoor negotiations with third parties to keep channels of communication open especially with a country like Iran with so much control over the price of oil and upcoming nuclear weapons. But not face to face negotiations.
