Twenty minutes later, LEAVE is up over 800K and **sadfaces**

…plus Labour calling for Cameron’s head already.

Excellent news! Britain can be a nation again, and not the subject of petty bureaucrats.

    via Tim Blair:

I phoned my Uncle Johnny (WWII Parachute Regiment) last night to wish him a happy 90th birthday. He was putting on his overcoat and heading into the rain to his polling station in West Yorkshire. I asked which way he was planning to vote.

“When I was 20 I dropped into France to stop the Germans taking over my country,” he replied, “so I thought I’d better have another go at stopping them now.”

Whoops, forgot the link, which has some fine photos of the celebrations.

  4. I feel I must extend a heartfelt apology to the Labour voters of the North-East and other areas of Wales and England. I have often accused them of behaving and voting like a large herd of sheep, placidly either grazing or voting as the Labour masters directed. But I read this morning that the herd has revolted, gone against the dictates of everyone from Corbyn downwards; and voted in massive numbers to leave the accursed European Union.

How nice it to awake this morning to the news that we will be, in due and deliberate time, once more an Independent Nation. And even nicer to hear that we shall not be encumbered with the lies and plans of ‘Our Dave’ himself once he realised that the game was up!

I was about to play Beethoven’s Ninth on my music system, but decided instead to opt for Judex, from Mors et Vitae. Justice sometimes must be celebrated!

My first patient this morning was a British fellow who has been living in the States for some time. He kept repeating, “I’m in shock.” He doesn’t think this referendum will work out well and that the economy in Britain will suffer. As his MD I did not engage in discussion, but I was interested in what he had to say. I guess we will see.

Britain lives. They chose, and chose what they need to survive.

And Cameron did the right thing. Or maybe the only thing.

  8. tree hugging sister says:

So, SO happy for you, Mike! I was up ’til after midnight watching the whole thing and reading my eyeballs out. EXHILARATING!

We had 2 YOUNG Brits in the store yesterday, Alice, living here and in Singapore and they’d BOTH voted REMAIN. GTFO, right? But, then again, it’s all they’ve known.

    Right, Kathy. Right, right, right.
