I’d Check The Gun
Sure, it sounds exciting
ONEIDA, N.Y. (AP) — State police say a Westchester County man was drunk when he was clocked driving more than 150 mph before crashing on an upstate New York road.
…Police say the troopers’ radar gun measured the car doing 153 mph.
But, seriously: 153 mph…in a Dodge Neon?
I’m somewhat skeptical about the accuracy on this one.
Neons are pretty darn fast cars and many people supe them up. Very believable to me.
153 sounds just insane, though. 110, 115, sure.
But I’m not into that sort of stuff and given your Boxter love I’ll defer to your knowledge.
Maybe they should give him a medal? 🙂
I can see a Neon SRT being able to do that with a few tweeks. I’m not sure this was a factory fresh Neon. Heck, my old Eagle was clocked at 120 back in Sussex, an a Neon is slicker, lighter and has more HP.
I’m with Skyler on this… it was probably tricked out. I see them around here too, on occasion, though admittedly I can’t recall a Neon street racer. It’s mostly Civics, Scions, and various small coupes.
I think it makes one helluva a Chrysler Corp commercial ~ fast AND fuel efficient!
A little exaggeration,my friend.Probably 115,but cops
are human and like to exaggerate.
I’ve been to court with them and it’s exaggeration
bordering on outright perjury..
Maybe the cop clocked him going over that cliff.
Musta set off the JATO packs.
