NEW YORK (AP) – Playoff parties may have one fewer dip option this year.
Kraft Foods says some customers may not be able to find Velveeta cheese over the next few weeks. A representative for the company, Jody Moore, didn’t give any reasons for the apparent shortage, saying only that they happen from time to time given the “nature of manufacturing.”
Weep for what our Land has become, my friends.
As the old saying goes, “The cowards never started, and the weak died along the way.”
No tears from me. Nasty stuff.
Does this mean cheese in a can is next??! Oh the humanity!
Being in marketing, my boss and I were laughing about this yesterday: “What product do we have too much of? Let’s announce there’s a shortage of it!”
I suspect a nefarious plot by Cheez Whiz.
How can their be a shortage of Velveeta®? Domestic oil production is at record levels.
Pasteurized, processed, cheese-like food substance.
And fish bait.
But mostly fish bait.
In Wisconsin, Velveeta is just another infernal name of the devil.
