…it’s Thanksgiving weekend at Casa de major dad. Kcruella would comment, but she has to protect her bowl o’ popcorn from rampaging Scotties.

   Actually, it was the director’s cut of the original “Alien”. My favorite. I remember the review in Newsweek in 79, “this movie will scare the peanuts out of your M&M’s”, how true.

   I liked the first one, too, but the second one has the great lines. It’s my favorite of the two I’ve seen and one of the most intense movies I’ve ever watched. Still haven’t bothered with 3 or 4.

   I’m with ya, Rob. The second one is hands down the PERFECT action/horror/Marine Corps movie. The third ~ WHILE STILL A very GOOD MOVIE ~ is SO freakin’ dark, it’s in a genre by itself. (The fourth should be in a dumpster by itself.)
