Well, our Adult Leadership™ is certainly an example to not live by.
Add that to her long list of racial hate mongering.
Shooting your wad is not primarily a sexual term. It means acting without effect because in haste you didn’t properly prepare.
It comes from civil war era battles where soldiers would sometimes improperly load their muzzle loaded rifles without putting in he bullet. They would put in he powder and the paper wad only and when they fire, only a wad would come out.
But I doubt Norton knew that.

While you are correct on the origin of the term Skyler I would hazard a guess that there are perhaps but 3 people aside from yourself who think of it in that sense.
I guess Mitt borrowed the wad he shot Obama with in the second debate then, eh Eleanor?
Thinking back to my military days, some of the dirtiest minds and mouthes belonged to the females.
It used to mean what Skyler said, but most of the people younger than me (younger than 40) only know the sexual term. I really primarily knew it as the shooting term, until a (older) colleague come to me one day reporting that his students burst out laughing when he used the term. Turns out he didn’t know the “alternate” meaning, only the original one.
