Marco Rubio WON in Florida SPEAKING TRUTH ABOUT MEDICARE

…and was also told incessantly to STOP talking about it (and Social Security), by the way.

Dear Team Romney/Ryan ~ Do NOT sweat the the Sunshine State when you’re speaking TRUTH and making SENSE/CENTS

Wall Street’s Big Concern: Can Ryan Help Romney Win?

Wall Street’s reaction to Paul Ryan’s place on the presidential ticket may well depend on Main Street’s response — namely, whether the Wisconsin congressman can help Mitt Romney win the election.

…Valliere worries that while the message of fiscal responsibility is a positive one, the timing may not be right for someone as aggressively reform-minded as Ryan.

“The most important development is that this pick makes it unlikely that Romney can win Florida because of the anxiety Ryan generates among senior citizens over Medicare,” he added. “If Romney can’t win Florida, he can’t win the presidency.”

I call BULLSHIT, having been part of that victorious, Medicare crisis-invoking Team Rubio.

Floridians reward HONESTY and can do MATH.

Both of which scare the crap out of Democrats.

I was in Delray Beach on business on the weekend and travelled quite a bit between there and Ft. Lauderdale. On my travels, I saw exactly one Obama bumper sticker…and I was looking for them. I saw perhaps 80-100 Romney/Ryan stickers and yes, the ink was still wet. Now I know that this is hardly a scientific approach to predicting election results, but ONE Obama sticker? Christ, it might have been a leftover from ’08.

Sis, here’s a Ryan link that I think you’ll enjoy. He floats my boat for his views on fiscal policy, but I can recognize what others might see in him.

Oh, and be sure to check out the color version.

Too bad for Team Obama that anxiety is imaginary.

I guess we’ll just have to put up with three more months of BS, naysaying and outright lies from the left since it is all they have.

  6. Michael Lonie says:

Perhaps those senior citizens realize that if something fairly drastic isn’t done about entitlements soon, they risk the whole thing collapsing on them and being left with nothing. Foresight is not a characteristic of Democrats any more, but that doesn’t mean nobody else has it.

AND far too many Republicans…What was that biblical quote about the beam in your own eye? It’s not just getting anyone with a R after the name into office. It’s getting the right people with an R after the name in office. (And Rubio was indubitably one of the right ones.)

Thanks for not picking him, BTW, Romney – we need him here. And in a while, he’ll be presidential material. But not till he’s been FL Gov. 😉
