Moon Disappearing!

   You know, I bought a telescope last summer just so I can see cool things like this.
   All day the sky has been clear as you could want. But tonight, you can’t see anything for all the clouds.
   This happens to me every time something interesting is in the sky. Drat.

   If our Gaia-worshiping environuts were just a little more primitive, they would have found a way to connect the shooting down of that spy satellite with the disappearance of the moon…

   We had “nuisance snow” in the early evening, but thankfully it cleared out so I could smash myself up against my living room window (I’m on the third floor) and look directly up at it. No way I’m standing outside in my neighborhood! I didn’t get to see it at the total part, but what I saw was awesome.
