Joe Scarborough tells GOP to man up and confront Sarah Palin

…What man or mouse with a fully functioning human brain and a résumé as thin as Palin’s would flirt with a presidential run? It makes the political biography of Barack Obama look more like Winston Churchill’s, despite the fact that the 44th president breezed into the Oval Office as little more than a glorified state senator.

Well, it sure beats the heck out of being a whiny loser who quits Congress just months after his district (US!!) re-elects him in a tidal wave, because the BUSHIES didn’t give him that high profile slot in D.C. as a reward for all the TV mad dog work he did during the 2000 Florida recount. So, pissant that he is, he quits ~ “For the my children.” ~ costing one of Florida’s poorest counties (US!!) a special election. First he gets himself a high profile “job” with a local, BIG TIME LIBERAL law firm, and then came the MSNBC gig, ostensibly to be filmed from our PBS studios here ( “For the my children.” ). But HEY! Big city, bright lights. See. Ya….Gomers! Fame and fortune, Doctor Jones.

And NOW he’s carrying (some spectacularly classless, IMHO) water for the Bushes again?
W. T. F.???

Sarah’d eat that schlub alive. But I hope she brushes it off, like the dung beetle kind of thing it is.

For somebody who’s supposed to be so unworthy of regard, she sure gets a lot of flack from all sides for just existing.

And…..if Joe is so concerned about a thin résumé, where was he when Obama was campaigning for the Presidency?

    W.T.F.? is right.

As for Sarah Palin….yeah, if Sarah is unqualified and unsuitable, why all this attention? He’s just feeding the frenzy is all.

The spectacle of watching his head pop is merely gravy, of course.

I hear this stuff at work sometimes… like yesterday… “oh that AWFUL Palin.” These are smart professionals, and not known especially for unkindness or ill will – but the thought that she could possibly run for President gets them yipping like my dog after a full bowl of water. One brave soul offered that Palin had accomplished anything she’d set out to do through hard work and talent, starting from essentially nowhere. She was duly complimented by the Correct-Thinking for her charity towards Palin; nobody thought to credit Palin for her accomplishments.

Y’know, I used to kinda like Joe, but I can’t for the life of me remember why now. And thanks for the background…I didn’t know he quit his office and abandoned his constituents.

    Buh-bye Joe.

I didn’t realize that Scarborough was such a douchebag. Every one of his points is completely messed up. Palin’s “blue bloods” comment was a response to an uncharacteristically snotty comment from Barbara Bush. Barbara was the one who was out of line there.

Palin also did NOT mock Ronald Reagan, she was simply noting that in 1951 he was doing stuff like Bedtime for Bonzo, not exactly work that was heavy with gravitas, and yet 29 years later he was elected president in a landslide. Will Palin achieve Reagan’s level of gravitas someday? I don’t know, but clearly she’s well ahead of Scarborough.

And it’s pretty rich that he insanely gins up some non-existent insult to George H.W. Bush’s military record and then excoriates Palin for her lack of military service. You know, that kind of crap always seems to come from assholes who have themselves never actually served and what do you know, it looks like Joe fits that bill.

I never knew that Scumborough was a congress critter. That’s pretty telling of how much the rot infests our halls of governance.

All you have to do to be considered stupid by the MSM is be a R and run for President (or Vice President).
Personally I don’t think she will, although I think she’d be good at it. I think she’s having too much fun being king-maker.
But when she’s ready, she has my vote!
